The Wolf's Tailor

I've been living in a whirlwind the past couple of days! I had the pleasure of working with Chef Kelly Whitaker and Chef Sonoko Sakai-- both extremely talented, welcoming, and passionate people. Denver hosted Slow Food Nations, which is a massive foodie event that showcases local Denver eats and the most talented chefs in the world. Jeff and I were fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with Chef Kelly and Chef Sonoko where we followed her special Soba menu through the Wolf's Tailor guest chef takeover. 

 

I wish I could accurately describe the gratitude I feel for being a part of their project. I have never seen a kitchen function so fluidly. The Wolf's Team was beyond impressive working around a small space with two photographers all up in their business filming / taking stills. Both Kelly and Sonoko delegated with elegance and efficiency to keep the kitchen moving, and the night was an incredible success. The new Asian-Italian fusion has a menu based on Chef Kelly's training in Italy and ventures through Asian night markets. Ingredients are sourced locally in addition to their garden patio filled with herbs and garnishes. The food and service will totally blow you away, and I'm so excited to have the opportunity to shoot the public opening in just a couple weeks!
