Hello party people! Happy Friday Eve. Another week has come and gone in the blink of an eye, and I'm so happy to be staying local after almost three weeks of traveling around. Aspen, Breckenridge, D.C. / Charlottesville, and many more listed in the queue. May is going to be a busy month filled with more travels, photography sessions, and creating more memories with the amazing, inspirational and bad ass people that I'm lucky to call my friends.

I feel like the more time I spend in Denver (and traveling around), the more my life is beginning to unfold. But, I realized as I'm building this life, it's even more important to stay in touch with those people who I don't get to see every day. That's why it was so amazing to spend some time with my college friends this past weekend.

After college, everyone begins their post-grad journeys and go their separate ways. It's not a good or a bad thing-- no right or wrong path, but everyone starts to build their own path. And, when we're being pulled in every which way, through the mud and the sun, there's always time to reconnect with those we love whether it's friends or family. And, whenever you reconnect with those special people in your life, you remember why you were a group in the first place, reminisce about the old memories you've made, and it's inevitable that you form new ones. And, believe me, with 14 girls in a house in Charlottesville heading to a vineyard for the day, you definitely create new, laughter-filled memories!

I loved catching up with everyone about their own journey, no matter what city they are living in, because we hail from all across the country now. It's a humbling experience to share those ups and downs, and realize that every single person in this world is on their own path-- not to get too meta here, but it's incredible. It's incredible to see the progress that we've all made since graduating two short years ago. We're the same, but we're also different. At the end of the day, it's not about the job, the material things, but rather, it's about who you surround yourself with and creating time for the people you love.
