This is the first time I've been back to La Jolla, let alone California, since I was a little girl. It was a completely different experience than what I remembered-- in the best way possible. I met my Mom for the weekend to get in some much needed R&R at the beach, and to see Coldplay perform at Qualcomm Stadium. I felt like the entire trip was a day dream... from the lines of palms that filled the sidewalks to those blues and greens in the Pacific that were once a fading memory.
In fact, the past few months have been all but a day dream that I never knew could exist. That doesn't mean there hasn't been a couple of "nightmares," or more accurately, challenges along the way. I just never imagined the type of exploration, adventure, or people I would meet along my journey in Colorado. Knowing that all of these have started to fall into place out here, it's time to set new goals and expectations for myself. I want to pass my real estate exam before Christmas, come up with a new list of places to travel for the rest of the year and in 2018, kick my ass into high gear in terms of blogging, and connect with even more people who share the same values that I do.
So, I guess the question now is, why day dream when it could be reality?
