Hello everyone! Time to finally wrap up Part III of Activity Week. And, what a way to end it. The fam jam travelled down to Connecticut to spend a a very special day with someone who is so incredibly important in my life-- my Aunt Donna (Big D). I'm so thrilled that I was able to fly back to BOS, not only to spend time with my family for the Fourth of July, but to stay the whole week to make sure that I would be celebrating with my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins on my Aunt's 60th birthday.
For those who don't know my Aunt Donna, she is one of the most fearless, determined, gracious, welcoming, successful, and kind-hearted people I know. Not to mention she's also a total business badass. She serves as a role model, not only for me, but for everyone that is lucky enough to know her. Within the past couple years specifically, I have grown closer and closer to her-- looking to her for advice both personally and professionally. Being one of her only nieces, we have grown a special bond, and one that I cherish so deeply. One of the things that I admire most about her is one of the biggest things she values: family. She epitomizes that family is always and forever. And, even more so, family doesn't necessarily mean being blood related. Friends can be family too. She cares so deeply for so many people, and will always go above and beyond for her family.
I'm so incredibly blessed to have you in my life, Aunt Donna. I look up to you each and every day. You are truly an inspiration to me, and to those that surround you. I'm so happy to have celebrated your 60th with you. Cheers to your health, happiness, and our loving family.
